SUSAN WHITE MA - Voice & Personal Presence
Susan White From the sounds of Greek islands to leafy South Kensington, spoken voice is Susan's music. An experienced London Voice Coach, Susan’s approach develops focused attention with balanced awareness, body listening and personal presence, leading to an increasingly intuitive felt sense of voice. Susan also specialises in releasing free voice, unlocking text and credible accent acquisition. SUE BERESFORD - Voice & Text
Sue Beresford Sue originally trained as an actor and has been working in the business for over thirty years. Her career has encompassed roles in theatre: repertory, touring and West End productions; TV (Between The Lines, Grange Hill) and films (The Tall Guy, National Treasure 2) together with radio, voiceovers and corporate work. Sue trained as a voice teacher at CSSD and combines a career in acting and vocal coaching. As well as teaching at the London School of Dramatic Art she has taught voice and text at LAMDA, Mountview Academy and Riding Lights Summer School.


INGRID GRAY MA- Speech & Phonetics
Ingrid Gray Ingrid initially studied Acting and Voice Training in her native Sweden at Kulturama, Folkuniv Vearing Teater before studying Acting at Richmond Drama School, Media Arts at Royal Holloway and her MA in Voice Studies at Central School of Speech and Drama. As well as teaching at the LSDA Ingrid has taught at The LABAN Institute, The ActorWorks, Academy Drama School, Italia Conti, Central School of Speech and Drama and the Court Theatre Training Company.


STEVE WATTS - Voice and Singing
Steve Watts Steve is an actor, musician, singer and teacher. He has a Bachelor of Education (Hons.) and taught full-time for five years before training for the stage; he now combines teaching with a busy performance career. Steve passes on old-school, no-nonsense technique. Through repetition of straight-forward physical exercises, the student develops a set of skills and a thorough grasp of his/her craft, ensuring that nothing is left to chance in performance and allowing the unique creativity of the individual to take flight, whilst always respecting and putting over the writer's intention.


ROBERT EMMS - Singing
Robert Emms Robert trained at LAMDA and has worked extensively since then. His stage work includes roles in ‘The Glee Club’ (for which he was nominated for the M. E. N. best newcomer award), ‘Shangri-la’ and ‘The Six Days World’. His TV credits include ‘The Street’ (BBC), ‘Monday Monday’ (ITV), ‘The Wrong Door’ (BBC), and ‘Waking the Dead’ (BBC). He has just finished War horse in the West end.


LARA PARMIANI- Voiceover
Lara Parmiani Lara was born in Milan where she studied Dramaturgy at university and trained at the prestigious ACCADEMIA DEI FILODRAMMATICI. She began to work on stage, TV and voice over in the mid 90s, collaborating with the famous physical theatre company LABORATORIO TEATRO SETTIMO and appearing on the Children TV show CIAO CIAO MATTINA, she also became very well known as a voice over artiste dubbing popular TV series and cartoons into Italian. Lara moved to London in the late 90’s to train at Guildhall and in 1997 she won the Paola Tovaglia Award for best female voice-over artiste. In 2004 she appeared in the BBC drama "He knew he was right". Her international experience includes work for MTV, Discovery, Paramount, Channel 4 and BBC Worldwide. In 2008 Lara set up her own theatre company, LegalAliens.


FIONA CAREW - Radio
Fiona Carew Since graduating from the Drama Centre London, Fiona has worked extensively as an actress and for a number of ‚Theatre in Education' companies leading workshops throughout the UK and Europe. Fiona has worked extensively in radio and her television credits include Spooks, Judge John Deed, Waking the Dead, Nicholas Nickelby and Come Together. Fiona also holds regular seminars on Radio and Voiceover technique at Hippocampus Recording Studios.


ROISIN RAE - Movement
Roisin Rae Roisin studied choreography, composition and movement before going on to train in acting at the Drama Centre London. Since graduating she has worked on combining the two disciplines within physical theatre, working with innovative companies such as; Trestle Theatre Company, Man Act,The Kosh and Border Crossings. Roisin is a founder member of The Crescent Theatre Workshop, for whom she writes, directs and performs.


MILO MILES - Dance
Mike Elkington Milo Miles is a graduate of the National Ballet School of Canada had his formal training with Betty Oliphant C.C., O.Ont., LL.D. who studied under Tamara Karsavina who in turn was trained by Enrico Cecchetti. Milo Miles has worked with: The English Character Dance Company, Oslo Danse Ensemble, Goh Ballet, Vancouver Dance Theatre; Choreographers: Robert Desrosiers , Mia Michaels, Christopher Huggins, Wayne McKnight, Anna Wyman, Susan Lehman, Oscar Nieto, Norman Legett; Magicians: Juliana Chen, Shawn Farquhar, Gregory & Kristi Gleason. He has also worked with Peter Darling as a dancer and Waltz/Pas de deux advisor for the film 'Phantom of the Opera'. He was part of the original cast for Peter and the Wolf in London working with American choreographer Doug Elkins. After joining the Original 2007 and 2008 Cast Workshop Productions of Colin Charles’ Hell Sing the Musical as a Soloist Dancer, he worked with Mark Battershall on the latest 2009 version of the musical. As well as teaching at LSDA since 2005 Milo Miles was Ballet Master for Tavaziva Dance from 2006-2008. He works Internationally as a freelance teacher and in London at Danceworks, Pineapple Dance Studios, with Artis Education, is a supply teacher for Urdang Academy and guest teaches company class for Disney’s The Lion King. www.milomiles.com
