ACT 101 - Level 4 - (10 weeks)

Audition Techniques
These classes will comprehensively cover what you need to know to prepare yourself for the audition process. You will build up confidence and be encouraged to feel relaxed and empowered in an audition space. The Topics covered will include: The do’s and don’ts in an audition, How to prepare before an audition, What to do on the day of an audition, Screen test and casting techniques, What to do at a recall audition, Cold reading and What to do after an audition.

Introduction to Camera Acting Techniques
You will learn the technical aspects of acting for the screen such as hitting a mark and camera frame sizing by preparing scenes that will be recorded, reviewed and analyzed and by completing camera acting exercises. You will also be taught what will be expected of you as an actor working in film and television, and learn the technical camera jargon that is commonly used.
